Dr. Amanthi Demuth, BSc, DC, CFMP

Dr. Amanthi Demuth is the founder of Demuth Spinal Care & Concussion Center. She is the author of Game Changer - The secrets to Living your Best Life After a Concussion. She is originally from Colombo, SriLanka and came to the United States for higher education. She achieved her Bachelor of Science degree in biology at Iowa State University and then accomplished her Doctorate at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport Iowa, the fountain head of chiropractic. While at Palmer College of Chiropractic she was awarded the prestigious Vogt Leadership Society Scholarship and voted by her peers and staff in recognition of exemplary leadership skills. She also served as a Business Ambassador at Palmer Center for Business Development, Vice President of Student American Chiropractic Association and an International Student Ambassador. 

She interned at Kalubowila teaching hospital in Srilanka & attended ward rounds, operating sessions, out patient clinics and teaching sessions at the general surgical unit. She completed an internship at Desoyza Hospital for Women, a teaching hospital for obstetrics & neonatology. Her final internship was at the Public Health Department of the Colombo Municipal Council, Sri Lanka.

Passionate about the power of upper cervical chiropractic care, she interned at Brooks Spinal Care in Tulsa, Oklahoma learning from a pioneer of the National Upper Cervical Chiropractic Association. She also practiced as an upper cervical chiropractor in Rochester, MN & Waite Park, MN serving thousands of patients with concussion recovery, headaches, migraines, neck pain and wellness care.

She is a member of the Chamber of Commerce in Sartell, St.Cloud & Cold Spring MN and has been very active in networking with other health care providers and small businesses. She was a member of Business Networking International and American Business Women’s Alliance.

Her passion for functional medicine led her to becoming a certified functional medicine practitioner. She is also certified in the Webster Technique. She is a scholar at Carrick Institute For Graduate Studies & has successfully completed graduate studies in Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI). She accomplished her education in cognitive fitness at Harvard University to enlighten others about the fundamental pillars to improving brain health. She is a TBI expert passionate in helping people with concussion/brain injury, headaches, dizziness, migraines and whiplash syndrome.

Dr. Demuth is married to Nicholas Demuth II from Cold Spring MN and they have a son named, Nicholas John Demuth III.

Melissa Wanna, Community Engagement Director

Mea (Melissa) Wanna is from Sartell, MN. She attended Saint Cloud Technical College for her Associates in Advertising and has worked in the financial and communications industry for over 13 years. Mea holds a strong passion to help those who struggle with TBI, Post Concussion Syndrome, Chronic pain and Injury. As a survivor of a Traumatic Brain Injury, and someone who has lived with Post Concussion Syndrome, her 10 plus years of personal experience and education, give her a unique, in-depth understanding of the challenges associated with concussions, tramatic injuries, TBI and chronic pain. She has used this experience to enlighten others through speaking events and was the Key Note speaker for the 2019 Celebration of Abilities. Mea is passionate about serving her community and using the skills and knowledge she has developed, to create awareness surrounding Traumatic Brain Injuries.

Mea chose DSCCC because she believes in the importance of upper cervical care and feels a positive environment is conducive to health and wellness. She looks forward to connecting with the patients everyday and loves to see the "smile on their faces when they speak of the relief and healing Dr. Demuth has delivered them."

In her free time, Mea likes to get out into the community and sing. She has preformed in multiple, local musical groups and has recorded a few radio jingles. Mea loves the opportunity to meet and connect with new people at every show. She believes music is a vital component to one's overall feeling of well-being and can be a great asset to our health and wellness. Mea spends much of her free time with her family, friends and neighbors. Whether it's playing games, spending time outdoors, traveling or venturing out into the community, Mea values every moment spent with her loved ones.

Rachel Robak, Office Manager

Rachel is passionate in serving people and has extensive experience working in the medical field. She volunteers for non profit organizations during her free time and enjoys spending time with her family.

She is a mother of three amazing kids. She states "Spending quality time with my family is the most important thing to me".

She enjoys recreational activities such as kayaking, horse back riding, four wheeling, snowmobiling & fishing. She loves helping the community during the holiday season by taking part in activities hosted by United Way.
